DARION WILLIAMSON

We are sticking on the wide receiver train as senior playmaker Darion Williamson was also mentioned. The four-year contributor was a former Class of 2020 three-star prospect. Williamson battled a major knee injury in high school which hindered his development early on.

Unfortunately, the injury history has impacted his playing time in Tallahassee. A prime example was 2022 when the Seminoles played against the Boston College Eagles, Williamson recorded 5 receptions for 98 yards then sustained an injury during the game and he did not catch another pass until the Cheez-It Bowl versus the Oklahoma Sooners.

Williamson has showcased flashes of what he could do as a wide receiver. The biggest unknown is how he will remain healthy throughout the season so that we can see his skill set on display. With Wilson and Coleman off to the NFL, this could be Williamson's moment to shine in the offense.

Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei could be able to build a connection with the 6'3" playmaker especially early on in contests to get him adjusted.
