Impact Players

It’s crazy to think with the number of highly ranked players in the class that only FOUR can be classified as an impact players.

The crazy thing is one of them was a three-star recruit who was brought into the class near the end of the recruiting cycle.

Here are the four impact players from this class:

Cam Akers started most of all of the three seasons he sported the garnet and gold. He broke Dalvin Cook’s FSU freshman rushing record in 2017 and rushed for over 1,100 yards as a junior before declaring for the NFL Draft where he’ll likely be drafted in the second or third rounds. Marvin Wilson could have declared for the NFL Draft and been selected somewhere in the 1-3 rounds. He opted to come back and help FSU get back to prominence his senior season. Hamsah Nasirildeen has been an absolute machine on defense. He’s led the Noles in tackles the last two seasons, becoming the first Nole since Reggie Northrup in 2014 to amass 100 tackles in a season. Tamorrion Terry has become of the best deep threat wide receivers in college football. He became the first FSU wide receiver to amass 1,000 yards since Rashad Greene in 2014.
