  • Stanford Samuels III: 4-star DB
  • D.J. Matthews: 4-star WR
  • Cyrus Fagan: 4-star Safety
  • Leonard Warner: 4-star LB
  • Cory Durden: 3-star DT
  • James Blackman: 3-star QB
  • Tre McKitty: 3-star TE
  • Brady Scott: 3-star OL
  • Grant Glennon: 3-star LS(non-scholarship)

Stanford Samuels III had an up and down career at FSU and didn’t play up to is billing as a player who was rated as a five-star much of his recruitment. He declared for the NFL Draft and will likely get drafted in the mid-later rounds. The same can be said for D.J. Matthews who has underwhelmed for a player ranked so highly. He’ll return in 2020 for a chance to finally live up to his recruiting ranking. Cyrus Fagan has dealt with a lot of injuries during his time in Tallahassee. His junior season in 2019 was his best as he tallied 41 tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery. Leonard Warner has been a steady performer the past two seasons, nothing great and nothing special. Cory Durden has outplayed his three-star ranking and he is edging close to becoming an impact player with more consistent play.

James Blackman has been dealt the worst hand possible from having to start as a true freshman to now four different offensive coordinators. He’s been both good and bad and ended the 2019 season on the worst note possible. Tre McKitty is a guy that never delivered on what most thought he could be. He’s graduating in May and transferring to Georgia. Brady Scott was playing on the offensive line way too early because of necessity. He hasn’t been awful considering he didn’t get the year to develop the way he should have. Grant Glennon was the long snapper in the class and hasn’t had one bad snap that I can recall.
