Syracuse Orange (6-7, 2-6 ACC)

The Fran Brown era at Syracuse begins in 2024 after the Orange decided to part ways with Dino Babers after eight seasons. The Orange went 6-7, 2-6 ACC) last season after starting the season 4-0. Syracuse has gotten off to hot starts in each of the past two years, but the lack of depth and talent overall rears its ugly head every time.

That's going to be the challenge for Brown, but he's fostered some excitement in upstate New York and has added some interesting pieces. I probably shouldn't have Syracuse this high, but the differences in these lower-ranking teams aren't enough to throw a hissy fit about. However, one reason I have them here, is they return 77 percent of their production from last season. They also have a manageable schedule in 2024 compared to the past two years.
