FSU football: Post-spring camp power rankings for all ACC teams

No. 11
Boston College Eagles (7-6, 3-5 ACC)
The Bill O'Brien era began at Boston College after Jeff Haffley decided he had had enough college football and went to the NFL. Truth be told, I was never impressed by Haffley, and he accomplished about what I thought he would at BC. Some folks thought he was going to turn Boston College into a team that could do something, but it's a program with an 8-9 win ceiling, max. They went 7-6, 3-5 ACC in 2023.
Bill O'Brien has college head coaching experience at the Power Five level and inherits a solid quarterback in Thomas Castellanos. Boston College has churned its roster via the transfer portal, losing 14 players, but adding 10. Those 10 come from the likes of Ohio State, North Carolina, UCF, and other places. The Eagles open their season against Florida State and play Missouri in week three. It'll be trial by fire for O'Brien, but he might be able to reach six wins again in 2024.
