Florida State had to replace big-bodied wide receivers such as Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman as they both navigated to the NFL. The playmakers provided a sense of relief on third down last year for former quarterback Jordan Travis.

However, when it comes to 2024, transfer signal-caller DJ Uiagalelei has been given a new line of wide receivers to utilize. The Seminoles added Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown via the transfer portal.

Benson and Brown were both thought to be solid contributors for the Seminoles in 2024. However, neither have stood themselves out from the crowd. With that being said, the season is still young for other options to emerge.

One wide receiver that I am keeping my eye out for is true freshman Elijah Moore. The 6'4" playmaker showcased a ton of flashes in fall camp. However, I wondered how much he would get acclimated to the collegiate game with him being a summer enrollee.

If none of the wide receivers make a big jump, I could see the true freshman come in there to potentially shake the room up a little bit.
