4-star QB commit Tramell Jones Jr. putting his recruiting hat on for the Noles
FSU football has enjoyed the success of their on-the-field product over the past two seasons where they have accumulated a combined 23-4 record in the last 27 games.
Highly touted recruits are starting to take notice of the program's accomplishments. Florida State is currently ranked 13th in the 2025 247Sports Composite rankings. While I understand that it is very early in the recruiting process for prospects that have not even finished their junior year of high school yet, it is still worth mentioning due to the fact that these prospects could be the future foundation of the program.
Florida State currently has four prospects committed to their 2025 recruiting class with five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.
Speaking of Jones Jr., he has been one of the Seminoles' biggest recruiters. The quarterback is proclaimed as the leader of the football team. It is also worth mentioning that the Mandarin High School standout has been the prospect that has been pledged to the program the longest.
For reference, the four-star signal-caller has been committed to Florida State since April 1, 2023.
On Sunday afternoon, he went to social media to put his recruiting hat on for the Seminoles for Class of 2025 five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr. and four-star cornerback Gregory Thomas.
Both Ffrench Jr. and Thomas play on Jones Jr.'s 7v7 team (South Florida Express). During these next couple of months, the Florida State commit will have an opportunity to get in their ears to recruit them to the good guys.
The good news is that both targeted prospects have visited Tallahassee multiple times and they have been trending in a very positive direction for Florida State as the coaching staff looks to create momentum heading into the Garnet and Gold Spring Showcase in April.
