5-star WR target Jaime Ffrench Jr. has the Noles on his radar
FSU football has already begun constructing their 2025 recruiting class with highly-touted prospects. One notable targeted recruit is five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr. from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville (FL).
Ffrench Jr. visited Tallahassee last weekend for their Junior Day event. He is also a high school teammate with four-star quarterback commit Trammell Jones Jr. For reference, the talented pass catcher de-committed from the Alabama Crimson Tide on January 14th after legendary head football coach Nick Saban retired.
It speaks volumes that the Mandarin High School standout decided to visit Florida State after de-committing from the Crimson Tide. Head football coach Mike Norvell views Ffrench Jr. as a high priority considering that he was the first prospect that he visited after receiving his new contract extension.
We even mentioned in a previous article that Warchant's Matt LaSerre put in an expert prediction recently for Ffrench Jr. to land at Florida State. This would be massive for the Seminoles as wide receivers coach Ron Dugans continues to develop his position room into something special.
Ffrench Jr. reaffirmed to 247Sports Director of Football Recruiting Steve Wiltfong that Florida State was in his top three along with schools such as Miami and Ohio State.
The top three selections make sense considering that Crimson Tide now has Kalen DeBoer at the helm, who Ffrench Jr. does not have the best relationship with.
As we learned with five-star wide receiver prospect Jeremiah Smith, who signed with Ohio State, the Buckeyes are known for grabbing talented pieces at the position. As for Miami, it is a location that recruits gravitate to. Plus, head football coach Mario Cristobal has been known as a tremendous recruiter on the trail.
Overall, the world has their oyster with Florida State as the Seminoles have his high school quarterback in the fold and Ffrench Jr. has a great relationship with head football coach Mike Norvell and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans. Nonetheless, they have to continue to pursue the highly-touted prospect until the very end.
