FSU football recruiting has been on a heater in June if you've been living under a rock. I know the coaching staff still needs to sign these players, but FSU has the No. 9 recruiting class nationally and is still in the mix for several high-caliber blue-chip players. Here are the top four biggest remaining needs in the 2026 recruiting class.

There's a reason why Cam Smith was in the major leagues less than a year after wearing the FSU baseball uniform in the College World Series last June. The former first-round selection has found his groove after a slow start to the season and has hit home runs in back-to-back games against the team (Chicago Cubs) that traded him to the Houston Astros.

FSU baseball picked up a couple of commits from the transfer portal recently. Cade O'Learey and Cole Stokes are two excellent additions to the mound for Micah Posey and Link Jarrett. That's six total additions from the transfer portal so far. The Noles need to land some more offensive firepower since they'll lose a large percentage of their production to the MLB Draft like they did a year ago.

It hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows on the recruiting trail despite the recent run of commits for the Noles.

Mubenga was a offensive line target who took an official visit to FSU earlier in June. Cameron Brickle was a defensive tackle target FSU offered in March and got to take an official visit in late May. Brickle is originally from the Northeast, so it makes sense he'd return to that area to play in college. FSU had already taken three defensive linemen, so this wasn't a miss per se.

In case you missed it, FSU will have the better quarterback when Alabama comes to Tallahassee for the 2025 season opener.

It's great to see a top legacy commit recruiting hard for the Noles on social media.
