WR Johnny Wilson

The 6’7” big-bodied playmaker has played a pivotal role this season, but the inconsistencies with drops have been a major concern for the former Arizona State transfer. However, Wilson has been working with former Florida State tight end Nick O’ Leary on a tennis ball drill to help with concentration.

Surprisingly, Wilson has not recorded a touchdown prior to the Virginia Tech game. Keon Coleman has been a touchdown grabbing machine. But Wilson made his presence felt on Saturday afternoon where he grabbed two touchdowns. Fans unfortunately saw the wide receiver get hurt in the second half where he had to be helped off the field and did not return.

Thankfully, Wilson stated that he was fine on his Twitter (X) account last night, which gave fans a sigh of relief. The team will certainly need Wilson healthy if they want to accomplish their lofty goals and expectations this season.
