Redshirt sophomore running back Lawrance Toafili (9) rushes the ball. Florida State football defeated Georgia Tech, 41-16, On Oct. 29, 2022, at Doak Campbell Stadium.J9t2323 /

I listed yet another running back in this article. The Seminoles ultimately did a tremendous job in establishing the run. While Toafili did not have the 200-yard performance like Benson did, the former four-star prospect in the Class of 2020 had fans pleased with his outing where he recorded six Carrie’s for 50 yards and a touchdown.

On the touchdown that he had, Toafili stayed on his feet after being tackled where he rolled over two Virginia Tech defenders to get into the end zone. It gave flashbacks to when the Saint Petersburg (FL) native rolled over a Clemson defender back in their 2021 matchup, which gave the Seminoles a 13-10 lead in the second quarter.

It was nice to see Toafili get involved in this contest. FSU could definitely utilize his versatility as a running back and wide receiver for the rest of the season.
