FSU football: Comparing recruiting classes from a year ago

FSU football has had an amazing July with several new commits in the 2024 recruiting class. FSU added five-star Charles Lester III Friday night and flipping four-star offensive lineman Manasse Itete from USC Saturday afternoon.
Those additions brought the 2024 recruiting class to 19 commits and the No. 6 ranking nationally. The Noles have two five-stars, 12 four-stars, and five five-stars(including a kicker).
The blue-chip ratio is a staggering 73.6 percent. Here’s how the class breaks down and their national ranking:

- Kameron Davis: No. 49 overall
- Luke Kromenhoek: No. 99 overall
- Jonathan Daniels: No. 104 overall
- Micahi Danzy: No. 191 overall

- Lawayne McCoy: No. 244 overall
- DD Holmes: No. 273 overall
- Manasse Itete: No. 331 overall
- BJ Gibson: No. 383 overall
- Ricky Knight III: No. 408
- Camdon Frier: No. 415 overall
- CJ Heard: No. 448 overall
- Rydarrius Morgan: No. 559 overall
- Jayden Parrish: No. 670 overall

That’s four players inside the top 100, and 11 players overall inside the top 400, with a per player average of 90.97.
