Hykeem Williams

Hykeem Williams is arguably the most important recruit left on the board for the Noles. The five-star wide receiver would be the highest-ranked wide receiver since D.J. Williams in the 2017 recruiting cycle.

Williams unofficially visited FSU for several days in late July, and he’s best friends with FSU freshmen linebacker Omar Graham.

Can Ron Dugans pull off the upset in this recruitment? If so, it would make up for several misses he has had on the recruiting trail in recent years. Williams likes him a lot, and Williams seems to enjoy what FSU is trying to build under Mike Norvell’s leadership.

In fact, Williams has already set a commit date for September 23rd, which is the week after the Louisville game. If FSU can get to 3-0 or 2-1 in the first three games, with the offense looking potent for wide receivers?

I think you have to like FSU’s chances of reeling in the big-time playmaker. Some folks doubt FSU’s chances based on recent history, and I know he’ll go elsewhere if things don’t improve on the field. The good news is we don’t have to wait too much longer to find out the verdict in this one.
