FSU football: 5 realistic 2023 blue-chip targets for the Noles
By Kelvin Hunt
DJ Chester
I’m putting DJ Chester on the list for two reasons. Alex Atkins and he has already set up an official visit for the Boston College game on September 24.
Chester visited in April this year and came to FSU camps twice to get coached by Alex Atkins. That says a lot about the respect he has for his coaching acumen.
Chester is the No. 137 player and No. 16 offensive tackle nationally. Alex Atkins has already reeled in top offensive line prospects in Lucas Simmons and Roderick Kearney.
The addition of Chester would be a monster offensive line class, especially when paired with the four blue-chip offensive linemen FSU signed in the 2022 class.
Most people believe LSU is the leader in this recruitment. However, I will never count out Alex Atkins, especially with the way FSU can go big game hunting since they will not take a lot of offensive linemen in this class.
If FSU gets off to a strong start? Things could get interesting in this one.
