Offensive Linemen

The coaching staff has Antavious Woody committed and waiting to see if he’ll qualify from the high school ranks. Additionally, they enrolled transfer portal targets Bless Harris and Kayden Lyles this spring.

If Woody qualifies, that could change their strategy somewhat and FSU football fans know all about the Amarius Mims saga.

FSU has been flirting with a few offensive linemen like Jazston Turnetine, and some JUCO players. However, the most likely and ready-made target D’Mitri Emmanuel committed to the Noles Monday night.

That acceptance of Emmanuel’s commitment shows the staff had major value on the offensive line position.

Emmanuel is someone that has the experience and a relationship with FSU offensive line coach Alex Atkins, and I he’ll be enrolled for this summer.

He can play tackle or guard, and that flexibility seems to be something the coaching staff wants from their offensive line targets. We should know if Woody qualifies relatively soon once high school graduations take place in the next few weeks.
