Transfer Players Are Legit

FSU football coaches made a conscious decision to use the transfer portal instead of signing a lot of three-star high school players.

The thought process behind the decision is the transfer players would need less development and could be more impactful, with the chance to win more games in 2021.

It looks like they were right with Jermaine Johnson, Jammie Robinson, and D.J. Williams. Johnson looked unstoppable coming off the edge as a pass rusher and that’s the position the Noles need the most help from a defensive standpoint.

Jammie Robinson looked good out there and should be an enforcer with the physicality he brings to the game.

Physicality is a great description for running back D.J. Williams. Williams ran hard and will be a great compliment to Lawrance Toafili and Jashaun Corbin.

Mike Norvell said he was banged up early in spring camp, so it was good to see him in action as a contributor Saturday.
