Offense Looks Better

We all saw the offenses Mike Norvell and Kenny Dillingham produced while at Memphis. I think we’ll see something that resembles those offenses in Tallahassee.

I doubt they will be as consistent because of the youth at wide receiver and the offensive line working to become serviceable.

However, they have two quarterbacks that can get them into the best plays at the line of scrimmage.

Both quarterbacks can extend plays with their legs, which should help slow opposing offenses down from pinning their ears back and coming after the quarterback.

FSU proved they could run the ball last year with all three running backs averaging 4.5 yards or more on the ground.

The biggest problem was pass protection on third and long, but those situations should be fewer in 2021 if they have success on first and second down.

If that’s the case, I expect the offense to take a sizable jump this fall.
