Offense Line Played Decently

The offensive line continues to impress, something that would have been inconceivable in the preseason.

Admittedly, it helps to have Jordan Travis being able to use his legs to escape pressure, but they have done fairly well in pass protection all season.

Travis was effective with his legs, rushing for 107 yards on 19 carries. La’Damian Webb picked up where he left off against Notre Dame last week.

He had 109 rushing yards on only 12 carries and continues to be a physical presence every time he touches the ball. He’s difficult to bring down and always falls forward for yardage.

FSU’s ability to run the ball even though UNC was bringing run blitzes on first down was impressive.

FSU’s offensive line allowed only one sack and five tackles for loss in the game. UNC was credited with four QB hurries and two passes defended.

The success of the offensive line indicates the future is bright for the FSU offense under Mike Norvell.
