Amari Gainer

Redshirt sophomore Amari Gainer is a player that saw his playing time increase more and more last season.

He finished third on the team with 61 tackles last season, and only had one game with double-digit tackles.

He had a big night for the Noles against Georgia Tech, as he led the team with 10 total tackles (5 solo), with 2.5 tackles for loss, and half of a sack.

He’s an important player with multiple responsibilities playing the STUD linebacker position, which is a hybrid position that can play coverage and attack in the run game.

Gainer came off the edge a couple of times to make some huge tackles that resulted in Georgia Tech losing yardage.
