2017 Season Vs. 2019 Season

I alluded to this earlier, but it’s amazing how similar the 2017 and 2019 FSU offenses are statistically.

Check it:

2017 Stats

  • 27.8 ppg
  • 5.66 ypp
  • 35.19 percent third-down conversions
  • 91.67 percent red zone offensive success
  • 64.58 red zone touchdown percentage
  • 4.37 rushing yards per carry

2019 Stats

  • 27.9 ppg
  • 5.84 ypp
  • 35.6 percent third-down conversions
  • 82.5 percent red zone offensive success
  • 67.50 red zone touchdown percentage
  • 3.83 rushing yards per carry

Here’s something that will blow your mind. Both offenses turned the ball over 21 times in those respective years with 13 interceptions.

The FSU offense played well enough to win eight or nine games in 2019 as well.
