Coaching Staff

The current coaching staff is an upgrade over the previous one thus far. Mike Norvell appears to have a level of organization not seen since the early days of Jimbo Fisher climbing the mountain to the pinnacle of college football.

One thing I’ve mentioned several times is the makeup of this staff. Almost all of them have familiarity with Mike Norvell, so they know what the expectations are, and there’s already chemistry there.

The biggest question is can they coach and teach? Well, the answer to that appears to be yes, as most of the coaches have experience as coordinators at other places.

Also, Mike Norvell and Kenny Dillingham have proven their offenses can be dynamic. Adam Fuller has proven at two different places, he can show large improvements in his first year with a team.

Norvell has been harping on special teams since his introductory press conference, and his teams always seem to perform well in that phase of the game.

The coaching staff upgrade alone will likely put the Noles in better positions to win some of the games they lost last season.
