FSU football: How much blame can be placed on Willie Taggart?

Adjustments Willie Taggart Has Made
Willie Taggart does listen to narratives formed and seems to make adjustments when they are warranted.
Fans wanted Harlon Barnett fired but that may not have been feasible financially. The addition of Jim Leavitt is a prime example of Taggart making an adjustment after the defense looked inept after two games.

Another narrative is fans wanted Alex Hornibrook to play after the Virginia game(although James Blackman was not the reason the Noles lost to Boise State and Virginia). Guess what, Alex Hornibrook got to play against Louisville and proved he deserved more playing time.
He got that playing time when James Blackman was injured against Louisville and led the Noles to a win against NC State.
After the Clemson debacle where both quarterbacks played terribly, fans began to talk about getting rid of the two-quarterback system. That’s what happened when James Blackman started and played the entire game against Wake Forest.
Was that the right call? I’m not sure as Hornibrook comes with his own limitations and hasn’t exactly set the world on fire with his play. However, he’s no longer with the program in 5-6 games and Blackman is a captain with eligibility left after this season so I can understand why he went with Blackman.
Another adjustment has been seeing more young players he recruited getting more playing time. The thought was it’s best to play the younger players if the older players were not buying-in or making mistakes to help change the culture of the program.
There were tons of younger players in the game Saturday night, so Willie Taggart has to be given credit for that.
