Recruiting

You got it! The lifeblood of a college football program. The coaches have done a tremendous job of putting the 2020 recruiting class together.

It’s currently ranked No. 9 in the nation, ahead of both Miami and Florida coming off a 5-7 season.

That’s incredible.

A win over Boise State begins to validate the message coaches have been selling to recruits. Do you know what else?

It begins to negate the negative recruiting tactics teams have used against the Noles the past few seasons. If the offensive line looks decent, teams can’t really point to that as a weakness anymore.

If the offense can line up and look coordinated without a ton of undisciplined penalties? Well, it’s a much easier sell for top flight recruits to come be a part of something that’s on the rise again.

If the defense can be physical and aggressive like FSU football teams a few years ago? Hey, players like five-star Sa’Vell Smalls will take notice more so than if they give up 30+ points per game.

A win over Boise State would be huge for morale and confidence of the program which ultimately bleeds over into recruiting.
