Syracuse

A lot of folk like to point to last year’s game and draw some rather radical conclusions. Syracuse has played FSU tough the past two seasons.

Some folk look at the final score of last year’s game and automatically draw the conclusion the Noles will get rolled by the Orange in 2019.

It was a 6-0 ball game at halftime with the Syracuse offense gaining 172 yards on 45 plays for 3.82 yards per play.

The FSU offense had exactly ONE first down and the team had eight penalties for 67 yards in the FIRST half.

The final score was 30-7 so you can imagine what happened in the second half defensively. They were gassed and basically folded up shop because the offense was so pathetic.

The Noles are still the more talented team and the game will be at home but it is the week prior to the Miami game.

However, I think last year’s loss will be enough to avoid the Noles overlooking the Orange.
