Miami
Miami has beaten the Noles the last two seasons by a combined five points with both wins coming near the end of the game.
Truthfully, I struggled to put Miami on the list over Virginia but they are the more talented team.
The worst FSU football team in over a decade was up two touchdowns in the third quarter before Deondre Francois self-imploded and allowed the Canes a chance to come back.
Miami will travel to Doak this year and it’s the Superbowl on Miami’s schedule. The X-factor for me is FSU doesn’t play Miami until late in the schedule which is the opposite of the past few years.
It’ll give Kendal Briles time to fine tune the strengths and weaknesses of the offense and Miami is a program that typically fades late in the season.
Not to mention they open up against the Florida Gators and will likely take a loss there. They also take on a tough Virginia team and travel to Pittsburgh the week prior to hosting FSU.
