Recruiting

College football recruiting relies on momentum a great deal. In fact, Willie Taggart has historically gotten commitments in bunches since arriving at FSU.

It’s like he strategically plans for recruits to announce their commitments to establish momentum when needed.

A lot of fans were disappointed the Noles didn’t land any commitments during its spring game weekend two weeks ago. However, I wouldn’t be shocked to see another commitment drop for the Noles soon.

The commitment from Griffis is important because he’ll be an active recruiter for the Noles on social media too.

He has over 4,300 followers on Twitter which is nearly the same about as FSU QB commit Jeff Sims.

Offensive line commit Zane Herring only has about 1,700 followers. Both he and Sims are extremely active on social media, so having Griffis be so pro-FSU will be extremely important moving forward.
