Perception

What’s the old saying? “When truth is blurred by lies and misinformation perception becomes reality” and all is lost.

Willie Taggart signed 21 players in his 2018 inaugural recruiting class at FSU. He signed 21 players in the 2019 recruiting class.

Kicker Ryan Fitzgerald was the only white football player between both classes taken out of high school. The staff was able to sign two other white players via the transfer portal for 2019.

The staff was able to get Zane Herring a few weeks ago and now they’ve brought Josh Griffis to the fold.

It wasn’t a lack of trying regarding the staff signing almost exclusively black players. They absolutely sought diversity, but most of all they wanted players who could play and who wanted to be Noles.

Josh Griffis fits both categories to a tee and should help the staff achieve more diversity while also adding a quality player.

Personally, I have Griffis rated as a low four-star as he has done well in camps over the past year.
