Cam Akers

Finally, Cam Akers broke a long run for a touchdown and felt like he got the monkey off his back a little since he’s struggled the first six games.

It was just his second run for over 20 yards on the season with the other one coming in the opener against Virginia Tech.

He finished the game with 13 carries for 98 yards and two touchdowns while chipping in with three receptions for 28 yards in the passing game.

It was great to finally see him break a long run which should be a big boost to his confidence.

His big game puts him at 458 rushing yards on the season with an outside shot of reaching 1,000 if the Noles can make a bowl game.

It should be noted he’s almost surpassed his 2017 receiving totals for receptions and yards through just seven games.
