FSU football fans have long wanted a “30 for 30” piece on the Bobby Bowden Dynasty years. Could Deion Sanders have one coming?

Former FSU All-American and NFL Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders is arguably one of the most important players in FSU’s short football history.

He helped put FSU on the map along with legendary coach Bobby Bowden when he enrolled in 1985.

Sanders was arguably the first defensive back to gain notoriety for his smack talk and his play. However, it was well-earned as he was a two-time unanimous All-American and had his FSU No. 2 jersey retired.

Sanders time at FSU coincided with the beginning of the ‘Noles epic 14 year run of being ranked top five for 14 straight seasons.

A lot of FSU fans wanted a “30 for 30” on that time the Noles were the most dominant team in college football. However, it looks like Deion Sanders may get one of his very own according to a tweet he sent out Monday.

Reaction

I agree one needs to be done on the FSU program at that time, but Sanders is good enough to warrant one on his own as well.

Thoughts

As you can see the fans are clearly excited for the film as you know it’s going to be entertaining with “Primetime” in front of the cameras.

He clearly states it’s going to be his 30 for 30 and not a film about FSU football even though I’m sure his time in Tallahassee will be covered as he has great respect for Coach Bowden and former defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews.

His roommate while at FSU was none other than current FSU defensive line coach and former FSU interim head coach Odell Haggins. I suppose he’ll make an appearance as well.

The film will be produced by NFL Films, so it’s likely the majority of it will be focused on this time as a professional.

Nevertheless, it’s one of the greatest Noles of all time getting some deserved attention and will be must see TV I’m sure.
