Michigan Wolverines

Let us be honest with one another – this one is personal for FSU basketball fans as a loss in the Elite Eight to these people from Ann Arbor kept us from what would have been just the second Final Four in program history. Besides, only one of the previous four meetings has been in the regular season, so FSU basketball should pump that number up.

Michigan State Spartans

In the entire 71 season history of the Seminoles playing basketball, these teams have met just two times with the last meeting being a loss in the 2011 version of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. With the Spartans having national titles on their resume, even a loss would actually look better for FSU basketball based on schedule strength as weird as that sounds.

Northwestern Wildcats

Again, this is a serious dominated by the yearly meeting between the conferences – with three of the five games coming in the annual challenge. With the men in purple getting better of late, this would be a good resume game for FSU basketball since they should come out with a victory and would have another power conference game for the committee to look at.
