FSU Recruiting: Noles make major moves with 2019 class
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU recruiting makes major moves with three additions to the 2019 class Saturday.
We expected a big day for FSU recruiting with the amount of top talent Willie Taggart and staff were able have visit Tallahassee for its spring game.
There were easily over 40 recruits on campus this weekend with almost all of them being ranked as composite blue chip.
After the dust had cleared, the Noles added three of those blue chip recruits to its 2019 class.
It all begin with four-star offensive lineman Dontae Lucas Saturday afternoon followed by his high school teammate, four-star linebacker Jaleel McRae.
The day was capped off late last night when four-star wide receiver Maurice Goolsby announced his commitment to the Noles.
The Noles also added a fourth commitment Saturday with 2020 linebacker Keyshawn Greene announced his commitment to FSU.
Impact
This is a wonderful job by the staff in addressing three huge needs with blue chip recruits. Dontae Lucas has a great personality and should be influential in this recruiting class with other blue chip players.
The Noles now have the No. 2 rated class in the nation and the No. 1 class in the ACC with nine commitments.
It is a bit early for rankings to be as accurate as they can be, but for what it’s worth, FSU’s average player ranking (92.66) average blows Miami (88.48), Florida (86.96) and Clemson (88.92) out of the water.
