WR DUCE ROBINSON
Florida State football has had its fair share of legacy recruits come through the program, such as offensive tackle Julian Armella, defensive end Lamont Green Jr., and even former Georgia defensive end transfer Marvin Jones Jr. None of them panned out and are at other institutions.
The Seminoles tried their hat in the ring with another legacy prospect in USC wide receiver transfer Duce Robinson (son of former Seminole wide receiver Dominic Robinson, who played for the program in the 1990s).
While his father was not incredible at Florida State, it is encouraging to see his son, a talented 6'6" playmaker, interested in coming to the Seminoles to create his legacy. Robinson recorded 39 catches for 747 yards and seven touchdowns during two seasons with the Trojans.
Fans understood that Florida State had a sensational 2023 campaign that included a high-powered offense with quarterback Jordan Travis throwing to big-bodied pass catchers such as Johnny Wilson, Keon Coleman, and Jaheim Bell.
I think that the coaching staff wants to have more of that magic in what is a pivotal year for the Seminoles in 2025.
