FIVE-STAR DB CHAUNCEY KENNON

I mentioned him in a recent article, but this is a recruitment that the coaching staff needs to close now. Five-star cornerback Chauncey Kennon is someone who defensive back coaches Patrick Surtain Sr. and Evan Cooper have worked very hard on.

While this isn't a five-star offensive tackle prospect (wishful thinking, right?), it is still a recruit that the program can build around. The defensive backfield has a ton of young talent, but Kennon will be a perfect piece to compete for a starting spot.

The Sarasota, Florida, native visited Florida State last weekend and has already been receiving crystal ball predictions of the Seminoles. However, there is an obstacle in place where the talented defender was expected to visit LSU this weekend and then make a decision on July 6th.

Recruiting is all over the place in college football, but I am hoping that the Seminoles find a way to close on Kennon sooner rather than later.
