FSU GETS A MASSIVE CRYSTAL BALL

Florida State's coaching staff is hosting several highly-touted prospects on campus this weekend for official visits. The Seminoles need recruiting momentum, as arch-rival Florida is gaining traction on the recruiting trail.

The program is outside the top 30, but that could change drastically if things progress in the direction that the coaching staff wants from this weekend. Defensive coordinator Tony White even hinted last night that there could be good news for the Seminoles' 2026 recruiting class.

Well, it looks like everything is lining up in order, as on Sunday morning that Noles247's Zach Blostein puts in a crystal ball prediction in favor of Florida State for Class of 2026 five-star cornerback Chauncey Kennon from Booker High School in Sarasota, Florida.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR FSU?

Kennon would be a great get for the Seminoles. It seems like Florida State suffered bad news more than it has had optimism in this recruiting class. Things look to be on the up-and-up with four-star quarterback Jaden O' Neal (Oklahoma commit) also starting his official visit today.

This makes me wonder if Kennon would still take his official visit to LSU next weekend and make his decision on July 6th. If I was the Florida State coaching staff, I would do everything in my power to ensure that the talented defensive back cancels his visit with the Tigers and makes a decision now.

I know that head football coach Mike Norvell wants prospects to take other visits to ensure that they are the right fit, but I need him to implement the Clemson Tigers' rule about trips to other schools and shut his recruitment down.

Defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. continues to be relentless on the recruiting trail, where he could land yet another five-star member of the secondary alongside Charles Lester III, who is friends with Chauncey Kennon.
