QB commit Logan Flaherty hints that there will be more exciting news for Florida State

Logan Flaherty seems to think that Florida State recruiting will get more commitments soon.

Florida State's 2027 recruiting class has brought exciting news for this fan base, as they generated three new commitments with four-star running back Jayden Miles, four-star linebacker Jernard Albright, and now four-star wide receiver Sean Green.

Head coach Mike Norvell continues to prove the doubters wrong, with many individuals having him firmly on the hot seat. Norvell is almost like a cockroach to some, as he is still hanging around. The administration is hoping that he can return to his 2022 and 2023 form after retaining him for 2026.

This has to give the fan base optimism that stability with Norvell has been achieved, since Sean Green said "yes" to Florida State over the likes of Kirby Smart and Georgia. He wouldn't just voluntarily join the Seminoles without assurance that Norvell would be around.

Another underrated reason that Sean Green likely committed to Florida State was his relationship with three-star quarterback commit Logan Flaherty from Port Charlotte, Florida. The two were seen in Tallahassee over the weekend wearing the all-white uniform combination together in photo shoots.

Logan Flaherty has been a great recruiter for Mike Norvell and this coaching staff. He went on social media after Sean Green committed and mentioned that the Seminoles aren't done yet.

This got the wheels turning for me. Who is Logan Flaherty referring to in this tweet? In this article, I want to highlight a few prospects that he could be talking about.

3-star RB Marquis Fennell

Florida State already has a running back prospect committed to the program in four-star Jayden Miles. The Seminoles' coaching staff doesn't seem to be done at the position, with three-star Marquis Fennell being a target that they want. Fennell is not your typical three-star prospect, as he recorded over 2,200 total yards and 33 touchdowns during his junior season at Valdosta High School in Georgia. He is supposed to decide on June 25th, and we will see if that gets moved up.

3-star DL Jason Lewis

Florida State has two defensive linemen in its class with four-star Anthony Cavallaro and three-star Eric Vaulx Jr. The Seminoles aren't stopping there, with defensive lineman Jason Lewis showing interest in the program. Lewis has already received two crystal ball predictions in favor of Florida State, and came off his official visit with the Seminoles saying that they are on top of his recruitment. Lewis is supposed to be announcing his commitment on July 10th, and it favors the good guys.

3-star WR Majay Thompson

Florida State got the pledge of four-star wide receiver Sean Green on Tuesday, but this should not mean that the Seminoles should stop recruiting the position. I get that the coaching staff recruited six of them during the last recruiting cycle, but they probably need at least two in this year's version. With four-star Jabari Watkins (not that much of a chance) and four-star Cam Wade going elsewhere, three-star option Majay Thompson should be the play here. However, schools such as Georgia, Alabama, and Wake Forest are involved. It's time to shove Kirby Smart in another locker.
