Who could be the next commitment for the Seminoles' 2025 recruiting class?

Florida State is trying to land itself another American Heritage High School standout. The Seminoles already have four-star cornerback Gregory "Zae" Thomas in the fold. One prospect that they have on its radar is four-star running back Byron Louis.

Thomas and Louis are considered good friends and it also encouraging that they have a solid relationship with their former head football coach and current Florida State defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr.

While I understand that the running back position isn't necessarily something that Seminole fans think they need, it is worth mentioning that veterans Lawrance Toafili, Caziah Holmes, and Roydell Williams will be graduating after the 2024 season.

I believe that Louis could potentially make his decision in the next month. Like Petty, he officially visited the program on the weekend of June 23rd and has raved about the Seminoles. He has also been crystal balled to Florida State recently after a school such as Ohio State was thought to be trending in a positive direction.
