The fan base understands how much head football coach Mike Norvell values the tight end position for his program. With the position, they are used as in-line blockers, in the slot, and on the outside.
They are utilized all over the place. Unfortunately, the Seminoles are having to replace the likes of the productive Jaheim Bell who declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. Florida State did secure four-star prospect Landen Thomas in the 2024 recruiting class.
Norvell discussed that Thomas continues to show why he is on the fast track. It is great to see the true freshman making a difference. Veteran Brian Courtney had some great catches and Jackson West also played well.
What is even more important is that presumed starter Kyle Morlock had a great week of practice. Overall, tight ends coach Chris Thomsen has a ton of weapons to work with in his rotation of players.
