RB/ATH JAYLIN LUCAS IS FUN TO WATCH

Florida State emphasized getting its playmakers in the open field this season. While it does not have weapons in its offense that can go up and grab contested catches, there could be many opportunities to blow by opposing defenders for touchdowns.

The Seminoles certainly got a burner in the transfer portal by securing Indiana running back/athlete Jaylin Lucas, who is brothers with Florida State wide receiver JaKhi Douglas. He is very productive when utilized on kickoff returns. Norvell has emphasized the importance of special teams.

Alabama transfer Roydell Williams was also discussed as having a productive day. With having over 500 rushing yards with the Crimson Tide last season, he is expected to have a big role with the Seminoles as they hope to replace the likes of big-play Trey Benson.

Norvell also said that running back Sam Singleton Jr. has had a good spring. He has had some good and bad moments today. Singleton Jr. is a player that we don't hear much about, so it is great to see that the former four-star prospect is getting mentioned.
