With rumors swirling around about Mike Norvell leaving FSU for Alabama, everyone was relieved when Norvell announced via X that he will remain at FSU football!

Mike Norvell recently signed an 8-year, $10 million contract, making him one of the highest paying head coaches in college football, and rightfully so!

Norvell has done a great deal to turn this program in the right direction. During the Norvell era, FSU has come from losing to Jacksonville State in 2021 to an undefeated regular season and ACC Championship win in 2023. Needless to say, the program has upgraded each season since his arrival.

Hard work and hustle are Norvell's core values to this program. Norvell hates complacency. The Noles have learned quickly to keep their foot on the gas which has played out on the field within the past two years. With all the razzle dazzle in college football today, it's nice to have a coach who values the principle of good old-fashioned hard work. It can be seen how the team responds to adversity on and off the field. The program was mentally weak when he took over and folded at the first hint of adversity during games, and that's no longer the case.

Recruiting has become Norvell's playground. This upcoming offseason, Norvell already has a new starting quarterback in 2024 as well as several other talented transfers, making for a loaded roster. The best part is he is just getting started. There's still a long offseason ahead, and the transfer portal is still wide open. With Norvell dominating the portal, FSU doesn't rebuild, they reload.

It's safe to say that FSU is in great hands with Mike Norvell. Because Norvell has led FSU back to their winning ways, everyone is excited for the future of this Seminoles program. Here are some reactions from the news of his extension.
