FSU football: Ranking all top coaches in the ACC (2024)

If you want to talk about Mr. Consistency and doing more with less, look no further than NC State's Dave Doeren. The Wolfpack are never among the top recruiting teams in the ACC, but they have finished tied for second or third in the ACC Atlantic each of the past three seasons. I had Dave Doeren at No. 3 going into the 2023 season. The Wolfpack went 9-4, 6-2 ACC last year and have not won fewer than eight games in six of the last seven seasons. He also owns the rivalry against Mack Brown and North Carolina. The 2024 season will be an interesting one for the Wolfpack. They will have some new personnel at spots, but the schedule looks manageable enough to keep their streak of winning eight games intact.
