FSU football: Ranking all top coaches in the ACC (2024)
By Kelvin Hunt
Jeff Brohm (Louisville) 76-48 overall, 7-1 ACC
Jeff Brohm moves up to the No. 4 spot from the No. 7 spot entering the 2023 season. Brohm had a respectable record at Purdue before going home to Louisville. The Cardinals had a cupcake schedule gift-wrapped for Brohm in year one, and he took advantage going 10-4, 7-1 ACC. Louisville made the ACC Championship game in year one, losing the FSU and a freshman quarterback in his first career start.
I started not to put Brohm as high because of the weak schedule he faced last year, but I'm also looking at his overall track record. He has lost a lot of talent from his team via the transfer portal but has added some players from the portal. He'll have a new quarterback in 2024, along with other new personnel. We'll learn if Brohm is a legit top-five coach in the league or if it was a by-product of a soft schedule in 2023.
