It is finally game week as the Florida State Seminoles are preparing to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday, August 24th.

The Seminoles had an incredible 2023 season where they accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship. However, the year ended with a bitter pill to swallow for the Seminole faithful as the College Football Playoff committee excluded an undefeated Florida State team from the opportunity to compete for a national championship in favor of one-loss Alabama.

Several individuals amongst the general public showcase displeasure of the Seminoles such as ESPN's Paul Finebaum, Kirk Herbstreit, and Greg McElroy. However, there is one group of individuals that always have their back: The Marching Chiefs.

Florida State's marching band has been seen supporting the program through every turn. Even when the Seminoles suffered an 0-4 record to begin the 2021 season, the Marching Chiefs still found a way to pack Doak Campbell Stadium and blast the Warchant to bring the most energy to the football team.

They are the lifeblood of the program. All of the blood, sweat, and tears that they endure during the offseason. Marching bands are what makes college football special.

Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell recently went to speak with the Marching Chiefs in person before the Seminoles head off to Ireland.

You can hear the energy that Norvell speaks with when it comes to discussing the Seminoles' world-renowned marching band. He knows that the Marching Chiefs are one of Florida State football's biggest supporters and they will need them this season.

Even though Doak Campbell Stadium will be undergoing renovations this season (should be completed by the 2025 season opener versus Alabama), the Marching Chiefs should keep it loud enough to where the energy is still there.

I cannot wait to see the Marching Chiefs get their opportunity and experience what Dublin, Ireland has to offer. You know college football is back when you hear the Warchant from the Marching Chiefs. #MCATDT
