Florida State football opens the 2024 season versus the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday, August 24th at noon EST.

The Seminoles are turning the page as the memory of the College Football Playoff committee excluding them from competing for a national championship still haunts the squad and the individuals associated with the program.

Florida State added several newcomers to its roster from the transfer portal and recruiting ranks. As a result, the fan base will have to get used to a ton of the new faces on the team.

However, head football coach Mike Norvell and his coaching staff have remained confident in the 2024 squad's abilities to be successful. They have a combined 23-4 record over the past two seasons. It is now all about piecing everything together.

According to DraftKings SportsBook, the Seminoles are currently an 11.5-point favorite over the Yellow Jackets, and the over/under point total is set at 56.5.

In this article, I want to focus on three reasons why the under 56.5 should be heavily considered for individuals who want to place bets on the game.
