FOUR-STAR DT JALEN WIGGINS

Florida State fans always place importance on keeping home-grown talent in Tallahassee. Unfortunately, the Seminoles have been burned at times when those prospects chose to sign elsewhere. For reference, when five-star defensive back Terrion Arnold signed with Alabama.

Head football coach Mike Norvell has been able to secure the signing of a four-star athlete (recruiting him as a running back) Micahi Danzy from Tallahassee in the 2024 recruiting cycle. That was an important step in being able to effectively build connections and recruit the area.

Florida State has been burned in the past with recruiting defensive linemen where some have elected to go elsewhere. However, one prospect that needs to be heavily pursued is four-star defensive tackle Jalen Wiggins from James Rickards High School in Tallahassee, Florida. He is currently committed to the arch-rival Florida Gators.

However, he is still opening the door for the Seminoles to recruit him as he has an official visit scheduled with Florida State for the big June 21st weekend where all four commits will be there.

With Florida's difficult month of November, we could see head football coach Billy Napier being relieved of his duties which could sway Wiggins to stay home where he is most comfortable.
