Noles continue to build their prospect list for the June 21st recruiting weekend
Florida State's 2025 recruiting class is currently the 25th-best in the country, according to the 247Sports' Composite rankings. The Seminoles only secured four prospects in their fold such as five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.
Florida State has not had a commitment in their recruiting class since January when the Seminoles picked up four-star defensive end Javion Hilson from the Alabama Crimson Tide.
However, the coaching staff is shaping up to have some big recruiting opportunities such as Garnet and Gold Spring Showcase on April 20th. Plus, Florida State has camps in the summer where several highly-touted prospects will be in Tallahassee.
The summer will be where the Seminoles get most of its action with official visitors. Florida State is preparing itself for the weekend of June 21st such as five-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood, four-star defensive tackle Jalen Wiggins (UF commit), four-star wide receiver Daylan McCutcheon, four-star defensive tackle Myron Charles, four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison, and four-star cornerback Gregory Thomas.
This is a loaded visitor list filled with prospects who are heavily interested in the Seminoles. While Florida State does not have that many recruits committed right now, the summer could be an opportunity where the Seminoles to skyrocket in the rankings.
It helps when four of their commits will be in attendance for the weekend putting their recruiting hats on for the program. The coaching staff is looking to finish the summer strong as they head into the 2024 season with a ton of scholarship newcomers.
While I realize that it is only April and Signing Day is all the way in December, this could be an opportunity to build the future foundation of their program as they look to secure long-term sustainability.
