RB SAMUEL SINGLETON JR.

The surprise of the show on Saturday night was veteran running back Samuel Singleton Jr. The Jacksonville, Florida, native displayed his sense of speed, quickness, and power. It was heart-warming to see his name in the starting lineup because he hasn't been used much.

However, he was on Saturday night, as he recorded 14 carries for 91 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Singleton Jr. consistently ran hard, which is something that all the backs on the roster possess in some form or fashion.

Running backs coach David Johnson has the "We All on Fries" motto in his unit, where every back is ready for their time to shine. Coach Johnson has a ton of capable backs in the system that can have meaningful contributions.

However, Singleton Jr. was the answer on Saturday night. Quarterback Thomas Castellanos mentioned that we should be seeing more of the back in the future, as he has been working hard on his craft during practice. I cannot wait to see how the veteran continues to work for the rest of the year.
