FSU softball blasted the California Bears 12-2 on Friday night to win its 15th straight game and improve its record to (26-4, 4-0 ACC).
The Noles jumped to an early lead behind the hottest hitter in college softball, Isa Torres. Torres finished the game 3-3, with a single, a double, and a triple, to go along with three RBI. She set a NEW Division I Record with 14 consecutive hits in 14 consecutive plate appearances.
The record setting triple can be seen below:

Isa Torres is an absolute MACHINE
Torres has been the best hitter in college softball since missing several games with a concussion. She's leading the nation with a .662 batting average. She already has 49 hits on the season, which is already halfway passed her total a year ago. Shelby McKenzie had a monster game with two home runs and five RBI. Ashtyn Danley had a home run and three RBI.

Jazzy Francik went all five innings inside the circle for the Noles. She allowed two earned runs on two hits, two walks, and four strike outs.
FSU seemed to take some of its frustrations out from Texas Tech canceling its midweek trip to Tallahassee on the California Bears (who are not a good team). It's good to see the ladies continuing to beat teams of this caliber with ease, while the young players continue to gain valuable experience.
The young players continue to play a vital part of this team. FSU will return to action on Saturday at 1 p.m. on the ACCNX Channel.
