FOUR-STAR QB JADEN O'NEAL

Florida State has had difficulties with quarterback recruiting for its 2026 cycle after four-star Brady Smigiel backed off of his pledge after Gus Malzahn was hired as the offensive coordinator.

The Seminoles have put their best foot forward in the recruitment for five-star Keisean Henderson, four-star Landon Duckworth, and four-star Bowe Bentley. However, they have struck out for all three of them, which was concerning for the fan base.

Thankfully, the Oklahoma Sooners were able to grab Bentley over LSU recently, which allowed four-star signal-caller Jaden O'Neal from Mustang, Oklahoma to de-commit from the program.

O'Neal recently took an official visit to Florida State, so it made sense that the quarterback's crystal ball predictions are in favor of the Seminoles. The program will have a depth chart of Brock Glenn and Kevin Sperry competing for 2026 (if Thomas Castellanos is not eligible next season). They need Jaden O'Neal as a talented depth piece for the future with the potential to start.
