Hit Explosive Plays
I think FSU will have better rushing success against Alabama than most expect. FSU finding success on the ground is incredibly important, but hitting explosive plays will be a big part of FSU finding success overall.
I don’t expect FSU to consistently line up and run the ball with success, but Gus Malzahn is excellent at scheming guys wide-open. Malzhan will likely get a few guys wide open up the seams, or they could get a player like Micahi Danzy open on a wheel route.

I expect Randy Pittman Jr. to have a day.
I’d expect them to get Jaylin Lucas in on the action with jet sweeps or other running backs in on the screen game.
They will likely try to get Duce Robinson and Squirrel white isolated in one-on-one matchups, especially the latter against a linebacker. FSU isn’t going to go on 12-play 72-yard drives consistently. They will need some 5-6 play drives for 60-70 yards for a shot to pull it off.
