FSU football: 5 MAJOR areas Noles must handle for shot at upsetting Miami Hurricanes
By Kelvin Hunt
Offensive Line and WR/TE Must Show Up
I think I'm resigned to the fact FSU won't have much of a running game this year. However, FSU showed some signs of life by implementing some QB run game, which helped open things up for the running backs.
We'll likely see more of that from the FSU QBs.
If the FSU offense hasn't shot to win the game? The FSU offensive line must play out of their mind and the FSU receivers must make the plays when the opportunities present themselves.
Miami's defense isn't elite (it's only one spot better than FSU via FEI advanced metrics). They give up explosive plays, ranking No. 50 nationally, and the opportunities will be there just as they have been in nearly every game. FSU needs the Brock Glenn who showed up agaisnt Clemson to show up on Saturday night.
Will FSU players make the plays? They haven't so far most of the time, but Saturday night in primetime would be a great spot to start doing it.
